Our Projections of Character Onto Trump

 

Opinions abound regarding President Trump. Opinions range widely, from a savior for a better country to a maniacal, brilliant leader planning a coup.

          Then there is the demented old man, slowly losing it, or the backyard bully who just wants to control and win against all perceived enemies.

          In reality, he is a man who stopped maturing when his father sent him off to military school at thirteen. His emotional constitution mirrors that pivotal adolescent stage of a boy's life.

          It can easily be argued that, on top of the immaturity, his behavior shows narcissistic tendencies. In his extraordinary attempt to stay relevant and immortal, he forces his name on everything he can. 

          Planning ahead doesn’t come naturally to him. He wakes every day following his impulses, believing they are somehow the best guidance for him. From day to day, he doesn’t know what he will decide next until it comes to him. What's surprising is that people form their idea of who he is by listening to others, reading a bit here and there, and watching pundits, etc.  Most of these opinions are wrong.

          We project our own beliefs onto him. From our awareness, our knowledge of human nature, and our studies in politics, history, psychology, civics, and levels of consciousness, we form an image of who he is. Some even project political genius upon him!

          Here is the truth. He is a frightened boy seeing danger all around him. You can extrapolate this from keen observation of him.

Money equates to effort down the road. Somewhere, that money was wrought with hard work, strain, and effort. It is up to you to respect and care for the value you’ve acquired. Somewhere in history, there is blood, sweat, and tears attached to the very money you have. The energy of it never dies.

Even when the US Treasury prints new money, it is on the backs of all of us—the body of the country—and our income tax, which creates the government’s revenue.

The energy of the work—production—is in the symbol of money. Respecting money need not be seen as sinful if you recognize the human effort it SYMBOLISES. And act with reverence for its history.
